Tedd's Take December 2020

By Tedd Povar

Signing Off

I’ve notified VLGMA President, Cindy Mester that I will be discontinuing Tedd’s Take with this December message.  It is simply time to put a bow on it after some 125+ “Takes” starting in July 2010.   Retirement makes it a bit tougher to remain current and relevant, challenging me to identify topics of interest to the general membership.  Simply put, it’s best to know when to fold ‘em.

It has been a privilege to be afforded space in each VLGMA e-Newsletter to add an opinion, thought, or comment on the plethora of issues that confront us on a professional or personal level.  I hope some of them were informative and/or thought provoking.  Based on comments received, many hit a universal “spot” in hearts or minds.

I remain committed to working with VLGMA on a robust retirees’ program, and to help with conferences and other elements whenever asked.  We are all looking forward to being able to meet face-to-face again, and, in the meantime, we must do what we can to stay connected.

Here’s to a happy and healthy, if not unique, holiday season!  See you in 2021.
