Cast Away - Out at Sea
Cast Away - Out at Sea
Dear Conference Attendees,
We are thrilled to invite you to the 2025 Local Government Managers Conference, where the theme for this year’s event is inspired by the iconic film Cast Away. This thought-provoking theme is designed to explore the challenges and triumphs we face as local government professionals, much like Tom Hanks' character, Chuck Noland, in his struggle for survival and growth while stranded on a remote island.
In the spirit of Cast Away, our conference will focus on resilience, adaptation, and innovation—qualities essential to successfully managing in today’s ever-evolving landscape. From navigating the unforeseen to charting new courses, our sessions will help you develop the skills and mindset to thrive in challenging environments and make a lasting impact in your communities.
Whether you’re an experienced manager or just beginning your career, this conference will provide you with the tools, strategies, and connections to thrive in a constantly changing environment. Join us for dynamic discussions, interactive workshops, and plenty of opportunities to network with fellow professionals who share your commitment to public service.
We look forward to seeing you on this exciting journey of learning, growth, and resilience!
Best regards,
