We are pleased to announce a new online training opportunity in May: Succeeding as a First-Time Supervisor. For your scheduling convenience, we will be offering two sessions on this topic. Please join us on either May 20 or May 21 for an interactive training on how to succeed as a first-time supervisor!
Succeeding as a First-Time Supervisor
Being in a supervisory position means more than just a new title. It means navigating new roles and new relationships, even with the same colleagues. Your team depended on your skills, and now they depend on your leadership. In this training, you will learn how to identify and overcome the challenges of this new dynamic while developing tools to lead your team to success.
Goals
Use tools to move your team forward with the least amount of friction.
Navigate work relationships in your new role of team leader.
Determine when to DO and when to DELEGATE.
Understand how to be a coach for your team and avoid the micro-managing trap.
Fee: $60 for VIG members, $100 for non-members (member discount applied upon registration)
